    Hello! I am a recent graduate from UCLA, where I received a degree in Oboe Performance. I have been playing the oboe for almost 15 years now! I currently live in San Diego and am accepting new students. I am very passionate about music, the oboe, and reed making. I have played with numerous musical groups in San Diego and Los Angeles.     Madalyn liked the instructor, she was friendly and She worked well with her and she is traditionally shy, Her feedback was instructional but fairly given which I like especially for an 11 year old .

    I'm impressed with how well Brianna does instructing online. My daughter is learning and Brianna is catching her "bad habits" before they become ingrained. She does all of this in a very positive way. She's a great instructor!

    I have been teaching for several years through TakeLessons and have loved every second of it! I work with my students to make learning oboe fun by not just focusing on standard repertoire, but also any other songs from pop culture/movies/etc. that the student might be interested in. I also try to make my lessons very well-rounded by including music theory, singing, and ear training.
