As an a Cappella pop singer and classical opera singer, I have a wide range of experience teaching all genres of music. Graduating from #1 ranked music school, Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, with a Bachelors of Music Education, I am highly qualified to teach voice in any style, especially classical voice. Studying under world-renowned Metropolitan Opera singer, Wolfgang Brendel, I can teach you how to engage your entire body to produce a full and free sound to fill a whole theater. I am a certified music teacher in two states, and have taught students of exceptional abilities in the classroom setting. I love to sing and teach music in different languages, such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, and English. Whether you are a high school student looking to apply for music schools for college, or an adult with a desire to learn to sing, I am dedicated to helping you reach your goals. There will always be an emphasis on technique in my lessons to prepare you for healthy singing in any style. We will work on diverse repertoire including your favorite style of music along with classical, Broadway, jazz, and popular music for a well-rounded experience. After just a few lessons, you will see improvement in confidence, relaxation, breathing, tone quality, and expression.
