Experienced and engaging piano teacher, emphasis on nurturing a love of music through teaching kids to play the music they love while enriching them with a thorough knowledge of theory and performance techniques. That means I can teach your kid any song on the radio but I can also teach them how to read music!

I have been teaching students privately since December 2012, and am currently working as a Teacher's Fellow at a high-profile college of music. I teach a variety of styles, from classical to jazz to your favorite pop songs, and I always cater my lessons to the students' personality and preferences. Music should be fun!

He is a very nice guy and a great teacher. I wish I could continue, but I hope to eventually start back up again with Brian.

Brian inspired first my daughter and then my son to really love playing the piano. They were really proud of their accomplishments and were able to show it off at various recitals that Brian organized.  We were very sorry to see him move from Chicago!   He's easy going, relatable and cares a lot about the kids. I'd highly recommend.

I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Brian was able to take me from not playing the sax in 10 years to playing in front of 200 people at my wedding in 6-7 sessions. I'd highly recommend him to anyone looking for lessons.
