Music Theory with Brian O.

I am a pretty eclectic educator! I started off my education earning a bachelor degree in mathematics and biological science education. There are so many connections between math and music, so much that my thesis was entitled, "The Integration of Mathematics and Music in the Secondary Classroom". Furthermore, I have a Masters degree in Differentiated Instruction. My education continued as I spent the past few years studying Music Education at DePaul University. My primary instruments are piano and voice, and I am very comfortable teaching both. I have had a plethora of experience in diverse teaching situations including the classroom and one-on-one lessons. I have worked with all age groups including primary, secondary, and post-secondary level students. In addition to teaching, I perform around the city. I am driven by the creativity that teaching music provides and cannot wait to work with you!
