I am a Dallas-based cellist and private cello teacher. In 2011 I earned my Master's degree in Cello Performance from Southern Methodist University, where I also earned my Bachelor's degree. My focus as a cellist is as an orchestral player, and I currently play with the Austin Symphony, Las Colinas Symphony, and Waco Symphony. Outside the realm of classical music, I play with a "sophisticated" bluegrass band for Arlington-based singer/songwriter Heather McCready with Milo Deering, and occasionally with "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Bluegrass Band" led by Dave Walser. I believe music is a gift that should be shared generously with others.
