About Brian L.
From my 50 plus years in singing and as a semi-professional singer, I have found that my education in the best origins of vocal production and music have served me well to sing any kind of music and style, as well as teach all genres. I have sung with many community choruses and churches in the South Florida area, as a Bass-Baritone soloist. I have also sung second tenor parts.
The original training from choirs and choruses, musical theater leads and music direction, to obtaining a degree of Bachelor of Music Education with major in Voice, to being a paid choir section leader and soloist over the years, gave me a great experience and overview of vocal music. I have performed in many a variety of major vocal works, stage and venues. Conducted choirs and coached individual singers.
Currently I sing and record a lot, and perform with karaoke backtracks as I am a solo performer and I have a small karaoke business. But I get great satisfaction coaching people who have aspirations to sing better, whether in a professional career setting or just to improve the singing techniques of those who love singing. While I am retired now, I want to be able to reach out to anyone who can find me online for coaching. My schedule is very fluid and open at this time.
While I have a Music Education degree, I have gained the most knowledge from the professional associates, including accomplished accompanists and my own vocal coaches. I have worked with over years, both in choral and solo singing. Please read my extensive variety of background in singing, vocal training, conducting, performance and recording/karaoke on the community level.
Most currently, I have sung at Karaoke venues in the tricounty of south Florida and won contests. I have performed my own solo programs with karaoke accompaniment as well as many past live recitals and concerts with professional accompanists. My latest contributions of vocal recordings samples can be found on the internet.
