Viola with Brian L.

I'm an experienced professional classical violist, having performed with orchestras in large halls like Carnegie and Avery Fischer in New York to touring Europe in a string quartet. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Viola Performance from the Eastman School of Music. I love to play the viola and share my passion as a violist with my students. I believe that with consistent efforts there's no limit to how much grown a student can make on the viola. Besides growing a musician and violist, studying and playing music can be a great source of nourishment and joy in our lives. During our lessons we will work on left hand and right hand technique, reading music notation and theory, and learn new songs. Besides my work as a violist, I'm also an avid electronic music producer have performed in venues in NYC like Webster Hall and Verboten. I love writing music as well and have written music for Amtrak, Estée Lauder, Nabisco and other brands. I look forward to meeting you and going on a viola adventure!
