Originally I was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1979. I have been in Hawaii for 15 years now and have lived on three different Islands. I used to play for Forward Reggae band on Big Island and the Big Island music school. I have been playing guitar for 22 years. I have played live and professionally on and off for different bands in my twenties but now am a returning student at UH working on another degree in teaching, so I prefer to just teach mostly now instead of play live. I can teach and play many different styles including classical, flamenco, reggae, blues, jam band music, punk, alternative, folk, and finger picking guitar. I'm currently working on fingerstlye arrangements! I teach enough music theory to actually understand songs you personally want to learn or listen too. I teach popular rhythms and chord progressions that will give you a more fuller understanding of the guitar world and music. I specialize in working with people no matter what level and experience level currently at.
