Ran all aspects of a music school with over 250 students including hiring/firing teachers. I put together shows with 25 students and gave private voice, bass and drum lessons.

Heavy Blues Band

Blues band in France that played in the Paris area.

Circled the Caribbean Sea and ate great food!

Top Notch Records

Band was Brian Fox & Load (out of Boston). Album was called "Breakin' Through" which went silver in the USA (over 1/4 million units).

Warner Brothers

Band was called "The Power Trio From Hell" and the record, American Man, was produced by Eddie Kramer. Band was managed by Bob Cavallo Sr. who also managed EWF, Weather Report, Prince, Little Feat, Paula Abdul and more.

Band had West Arkeen (who wrote songs for G&R) on guitar and Paul Rothchild (Doors, Janis Joplin) interested in producing.

Die

A progressive rock band that I had while attending Berklee. Crazy songs with fast tempos and odd time signatures. We gigged around the Boston area for about a year.

Zeus

First original band. I wrote the songs. We were into Rush and Zeus kind of sounds like Rush. Anyway, Ray Daniels (the manager of Rush) wanted to audition us up in Toronto but we had broken up by that time:(

Frozen Heat

My first band. We were the heroes of our school. All cover music from Doobies to Deep Purple. Ian Mackaye was one of our fans and I sold him his first amp and let his band rehearse and do shows at my house. So, in a way, I started the DC punk scene:)
