I have been teaching and playing drums for 30 years.  Some of my older students are now touring and performing around the country.  If you have a passion for drumming weather its rock, jazz, metal, country, or drum line I  can get you where you want to be.  If you are a beginner or already a pro, I can improve your playing. The only thing I've ever wanted to do was play drums. My parents bought me my first drum set at age 6.  I've spent my whole life learning how to be good at what I love. I still study and practice almost every day, but now I pass my knowledge on to others. If you want to see one of my early students go ahead and google the Ries Brothers. Brian taught drums to me for probably four or five years, and it was seriously great. I always looked forward to having lessons with him because I knew I'd learn a lot and most importantly it would be fun. I don't take lessons anymore but I still think about many of the things he taught me when I sit down to practice. He definitely helped shape me into the drummer I am today and I'm proud to say he taught me.

Brian was my son’s first drum teacher. He was amazing! Ethan really learned the basics of how to play and enjoy the drums.  We wish Brian lived closer so we could continue to have him as a teacher.

Brian Cramer thought our youngest son for I believe about 5 years. It was a great experience for our child. He loved his lessons and was always looking forward to his time with Brian. Noah became an excellent drummer and to this day can sit at his drum set and play really well. Brian was enthusiastic, fun and dedicated teacher. We were lucky to a found them at a time when our child was eager to learn. Thanks Brian!

Mesa, AZ, you are so fortunate to have Brian Cramer teaching percussion!  Our son is currently getting his Doctorate in Percussion Performance (focusing on timpani) at the University of Maryland.  Brian was his first instructor.  Besides being an awesome drummer himself, Brian is an amazing teacher.  He taught our son throughout elementary and middle school, and was truly a great mentor...Brian has an amazing ability to assess a student's needs, and adjust his lessons accordingly--truly an individualized instructor.  Being a teacher myself, I also appreciated his ability to always make our son feel special, especially at an age when kids can be so hard on themselves and each other...Brian's positivity really fostered in our son a love for percussion that has continued...and will soon translate into a successful career.
