Brian is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Kansas where he studies with Dr. Sarah Frisof and serves as the flute Graduate Teaching Assistant. As a flutist I have distinguished myself through performance and competition, recently winning second prize in the Alexander & Buono International Flute Competition and first place in the Corton-Hyde Early Music Prize.

My 8 year old daughter just started violin lessons with Brian. He did a great job helping her feel comfortable and he boosted her confidence by telling her when she was doing something well. She's even more excited to learn!
