I am piano teacher who specializes in jazz, rock, and classical. I primarily consider myself a technique teacher, and I specialize in improvisation.

A few years ago I completed by undergraduate degree in jazz and pop piano, and I'm currently completing my master's degree in classical piano. My main influences are Miles Davis, J.S. Bach, Neil Young, and the Smiths.

I've been teaching private lessons for the past 5 years, from beginner to intermediate, and I can help you achieve your goals on an instrument, whether you're prepping for a university audition, or just want to play for your friends and family.

My name is Brendan McGrath, I'm a pianist and composer from Edmonton, Alberta. My background is in punk rock and indie music, but my schooling is in jazz and classical. 

I finished my degree from MacEwan University three years ago, in jazz and pop piano. I'm currently midway through my master's degree in classical piano. I've been teaching piano and gigging for the past 5 years. I've worked as a church musician, big band director, jazz pianist, accompanist and more!
