Fortunately for Braxton, his older sister had an impressive guitar collection that she left in his care when she moved to New York in 2009 to attend performing arts school. After having studied piano and finding that he had an ear for music he now had the perfect opportunity to learn to play the guitar. Over the next 8 years Braxton studied under Sean Cronin, the lead guitarist of Crash Reality, Dave Garski, Nate Claiborne and Drew Miller. In May of 2016, Braxton was chosen as a top guitar student and awarded a certificate of academic excellence in guitar at International Community School in Winter Park. One by one as Braxton’s guitar teachers admitted that the student had surpassed the teacher he began to think about teaching. Braxton has performed with the praise and worship band at his high school and has filled in at University of Carillon as well.
