Oboe with Brandon N.

After receiving my bachelor of music education from Florida State University in 2014, I served in various communities throughout Florida as a music educator and freelance musician. While teaching full-time and working as director of bands at Nova Southeastern University: University School, I performed with the Broward Symphonic Band, the Broward Symphony, and the Gold Coast Wind Ensemble. In 2017, I relocated to Denver, Colorado and have been teaching full-time ever since while earning my master of music education degree online from Boston University. I have also also had experience performing at the Boston Early Music Festival on Baroque oboe and conducting two musicals, Spamalot and Fiddler on the Roof. In addition to my current job responsibilities, I also teach private woodwind lessons and operate an oboe reed business from home while performing freelance throughout Colorado. Some of my favorite pastimes are spending time with my husband, Estiberson, and our dog, Venus.
