About Bradley E.
Hello! My name is Brad, and I love playing acoustic guitar. I specialize in folk, finger-style and bluegrass guitar, but can also help out with any of the basic skills you'll need to have an overall understanding of your instrument!
For the last seven years, I've made a full-time living as a performing musician in Charleston, South Carolina. Whether I'm touring, playing restaurants, or playing events and weddings, I always have to stop and be amazed at how far the guitar has taken me. I think it's a privilege to do what I do, and definitely a goal worth reaching for!
Some of my favorite guitar players include Doc Watson, Merle Travis, Tony Rice, Mississippi John Hurt, Norman Blake, and Tommy Emmanuel. I love everything from Doc's folky finger-style to Tony's lightning fast bluegrass licks. These players all played from the heart and used the guitar as a vehicle to tell fascinating stories, and that's what I aspire to do as well.
Learning any new skill can be challenging, but with the right approach and a good attitude, anything is possible!
