Hello, I'm Boyce and I teach saxophone, flute, and clarinet! I live in New York City currently, but I am originally from a small town called Tallahassee Florida. In New York I maintain an active career in jazz performance, having appeared on stage at venues such as the Village Vanguard, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, Birdland, and many more. I have a bachelor's degree in jazz studies from Florida State University, and I have been studying woodwind instruments since I was very young. Through a wide variety of teachers and mentors of my own, I have developed a teaching style that my students would describe as "adaptable" and "personalized" because I understand that every brain is different, and the way we learn affects the way we play! I am experienced in teaching all age groups, levels, and all purposes, be it leisure, professional aspiration, or special occasions.
