Hey, I'm Bob. I write. Almost every day for a long, long time. It has been so worth it, and continues to bring me friends, joy, challenge, (a little heartache)....and mailbox money. I have helped create hit songs over 4 decades. I have been so fortunate to work with a wide variety of artists, such as Emmylou Harris, Marcy Playground, Fuel, Dolly Parton, Jeffrey Gaines, Sunshine, the Badlees, and many more. I was 15 years old the first time someone performed a song I wrote in a real concert venue. That same year, I co-wrote a musical that was produced and presented. I was hooked. Writing is so much fun. The idea;comes: a couple notes, a twisty rhythm, a combination of words...sometimes that rare bird... a BIG CHUNK. I have about 700 buddies that hang out with me. I think it is almost like the songs are out there playing on their own, and you just gotta discover them. As a Voting Member of the Grammy Academy, I have advocated for young and creatively new artists. I have been given two ASCAP PLUS Awards for mentoring and co-creating social issue-oriented songs and awareness campaigns with young composers. I am lucky to still be active and involved, with television song credits on many top shows, such as Fresh Off The Boat, Hart Of Dixie, Treehouse Masters, and more. I have had success in pop, R&B, country, active rock, blues, as well as a solid synch catalog of music for TV and games. Let's unlock your potential to move people.
