Bob Boross is known as a master teacher in jazz, tap, and musical theatre dance. His career includes teaching at all major NYC dance studios - Broadway Dance Center, STEPS, Peridance, MMAC; holding professorships at the Univ of California/Irvine and Shenandoah Univ; and guest teaching internationally in France, Finland, Sweden, Russia, and Italy. He is based in the Bethesda, MD/Washington DC area, and teaches weekly classes at American University, Joy of Motion, and City Dance Conservatory. Bob was a featured teacher in the October 2016 issue of Dance Teacher magazine and the December 2016 issue of Dance Studio Life magazine.
Bob's teaching is based on the work of his master teachers - Matt Mattox in jazz dance, Bob Audy and Paul Draper in tap dance, and Lee Theodore in musical theatre dance. His students have appeared in Broadway shows, film/tv productions, major dance companies, and So You Think You Can Dance. He holds the MA in Jazz Dance from New York Univ.
