Flutist Ben Kim has been performing actively as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. He has performed as a principal flutist of Ensemble-Vita Cincinnati, a guest principal flutist in Starling Chamber Orchestra. He has been invited to perform in New York Carnegie Hall, Cincinnati Flute Symposium, and master classes by Emmanuel Pahud, James Galway, William Bennett, Trevor Wye, and Jeanne Baxtresser. As a soloist, Kim has performed in Boston, New York, Cincinnati, Denver, and Seoul. He holds both bachelor and master of music degrees from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and Graduate Solo Performer Diploma from Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music. His major teachers are Bradley Garner, Soo-Kyung Park, Pamela Endsley, Thomas Robertello, and Randolph Bowman.

The National Flute Association, founded in 1972, is the largest flute organization in the world. My daughter has been studying with him since 2013 and he is the best flute teacher we ever had. She took a lessons with others before which was not very successful and then he fixed everything with her problems. She is in 1st chair in her school and made a great progress. I surely recommend him.

He is a fantastic teacher. My son has been studying with him over 8 years now. He has won several competitions and all state and youth orchestra auditions. I surely recommend him.
