I'm currently in multivariable calculus (third semester of calculus), and I've received straight A's in all of my college math classes. I've tutored struggling classmates in the library, at my professors' request, and helped them improve their exam scores.
It's important for my students to see math not as boring numbers process, but as a real life applicable skill.

I'm a physics major and am aspiring to become an educator. I spend my free time programming physics simulations and working on math puzzles. I've been tutoring various subjects including math, physics, and chemistry for the past 2 years to students of all ages.
I believe that the most important principle in learning anything is a strong understanding of the concepts and tools used to solve problems within the field. Since these are cumulative subjects, a concrete foundation allows students to truly prosper and apply their skills to any topics they encounter.
Math is one of my strongest passions and I am always eager to share it with others.
As member of the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, I'm expected to maintain high academic performance. This motivated me to hold my grades well above the criteria required to be on the President's Honor List. I'm also in the Fullerton College Honor's Program on the STEM major track.
Aside from Math and Physics, my hobbies include rock climbing, programming, playing shogi (Japanese chess), and crafting violins and surfboards.
Blake helped me with physics concepts, preparing me for my final. We went over thermodynamics, light, and had an intro to quantum mechanics. He is patient towards his students and is very knowledgeable in the math/physic subjects. He helped me on writing formal lab reports as well. Would recommend+ Read More
