I have taught thousands of bass players and musicians, toured on all four continents since 1991 performing nearly 2000 concerts and played on nearly 50 albums.

If you want real practical advice on how to become a much better bass player, regardless of your current level, I look forward to meeting you!

*** Lesson Details ***
I teach students of all ages and levels (beginners, intermediate and advanced).
I teach most styles of music and bass techniques, and I work very well with kids and beginners. 4-string or 5-string or fretless electric bass guitar.

Although I teach most styles I specialize in taking intermediate and professional Rock, Pop, Metal and Blues Bassists to a much higher level by making them understand bass playing and music in a deeper and more logical way. I teach techniques, fretboard orientation, effective practicing, speed learning and theory in a way that will rapidly improve your playing and confidence on stage and in the studio, as well as help you find your own style.

I cover anything or everything from Proper Right-/Left Hand Technique, Fretboard Orientation, Proper Warm Up, Tuning, Ear Training, Sight-/Chart Reading, Style Versatility, Groove, Timing and Theory to Speed Learning Techniques, Career Orientation, Gear Advice and much more. My approach is very patient and friendly.

*** Studio Equipment ***

The best of the best!

I've been taking bass lessons from Bjorn for over a year. As a beginner, I struggled to play until I started taking lessons with Bjorn. As a skilled instructor, he knew how to take me several levels ahead. In a matter of a few lessons, I was able to understand theory, strengthen my hands with proper exercises, and play complete songs. Every lesson is structured and meaningful. Bjorn is a professional and dedicated instructor who knows how to bring out the very best in you. I would highly recommend him to both beginners and advanced players alike!

Seriously the best!

I've been taking lessons from Bjorn for nearly 7 years now (since I was 15) and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience so far! He is a phenomenal teacher that covers everything from theory and technique to improvisation and incorporates your own unique music preferences, influences, and interests into every lesson. He is a true rocker and a great friend. He is patient, but knows how to push you to be your best and that, among everything else I've listed and more, is what makes him so amazing.
If you want to learn from the best in a super chill environment with an amazing guy Bjorn really is the teacher for you :)

Bass Lessons - The RIGHT Way

I have been taking lessons from Bjorn on and off for some time now. I had already been playing bass for years, but Bjorn pushed me in the direction of experiencing a whole new skill level. Focusing on technique and muscle memory training, he showed me ways how to tackle any riff or song so I could have complete confidence while playing out. I play in several cover bands and even if I think I have all of my songs down pat, I get a lesson from Bjorn just before a show and he shows me a new world of possibilities. Bjorn's expertise allows him to train almost any bassist, aspiring or seasoned. I always look forward to my upcoming lessons and highly recommend Bjorn to take your playing to the next level.
