    About Billy S.

I am a professional actor, singer, dancer, director, teacher and coach who lives in New York City. I LOVE what I do in every aspect of my artistic career, and I want to help students improve while also enjoying their work. I have a degree in Music Education from East Carolina University, where I was also fortunate to participate in the Professional Actors Training Program and studied the Meisner Technique for 2 years. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping students bring honest, organic emotional life to their performances. I do have an eclectic life and schedule, but I am usually available to teach online no matter where I am in the world! I often travel to London to cast the production of MAMMA MIA! that I direct for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and I'm in Florida about 6 weeks every year in rehearsals. Don't let that bother you! I can teach online after auditions or rehearsals! I also have performed in several Off Broadway shows, national tours and many regional theatres around the country. If you've ever seen a show at the esteemed Alabama Shakespeare Festival, you may have seen me I've done about 14 shows there over the past 11 years. Whether you're looking for a vocal coaching, or working on a monologue or scene, I know we can have a great time breaking down the material so you can deliver an amazing performance!
