About Billy O.
I am a violinist and bluegrass fiddler who also teaches guitar and mandolin. I have completed the Suzuki teacher training courses for Books 1-10 as well as the Teacher Practicum course and Suzuki Principles in Action course. While I specialize in teaching the Suzuki method, I am also passionate about improvisation in all styles and use elements of jazz, world music, bluegrass and folk as well as classical in my own playing. I have been performing and recording professionally in and around Chicago since 2000. I hold a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University in Chicago.
