My name is Bill, and I can help you learn how to speak, read, and write Italian! Teaching Italian is my passion. We will start right from the very basics of the language, and our lessons are always customized so that you can make progress at your own pace. All private lessons are taught by me in person in Seattle. Learning a second language is fun, it builds confidence, and it can make your trip to Europe much more meaningful and memorable. ​ I am a lifelong learner of languages, beginning with German as a child, Spanish as a teenager, and Italian and French as an adult. I have studied and taught Italian privately for many years, and it is my favorite of all these languages. Italian is a joy to speak and to teach. ​ I have spent a lot of time on the streets of Western Europe, and I understand what it really takes to communicate with the local people. I love to share my knowledge, and my passion shows through the energy of my lessons. ​ Italian combines the ancient and the modern. It is the language of music. It is the source of the Renaissance. And Italy is the #1 most-visited country in Europe. ​ I am passionate about teaching and learning languages, and I will custom-make each lesson to meet the needs of the student. ​
