I am very laid back, easy going and humorous in lessons but I am very structured as a teacher. Students work with me for long periods of time because they realize I have a master plan I create custom for them and I execute in a fun and understandable way in a pace that they themselves determine. I really enjoy teaching and if you would like to study with me I will be your guide in your new musical journey. *LEVELS BEGINNER: If you know absolutely nothing about the guitar, don’t be scared. I am a patient and resourceful teacher with 25 years of teaching experience. I understand that everyone learns to play music a little differently, so my lessons are always designed to match each student’s learning style. I’ll have you playing songs in no time. INTERMEDIATE: Maybe you know how to play, but your learning has plateaued. Or you might have a firm understanding of the basics, but you’re looking to take that next step and really dig into more advanced concepts. I made this leap himself when he went to Berklee, so I know how to move forward once you've got your musical footing. If you need someone to explain theory, or you need help with playing and understanding chords, scales and arpeggios, I can get you there. I know how to take what you know and connect the dots, bringing you one step closer to finding your musical voice. ADVANCED I give lessons to advanced players of all styles. Whether it’s jazz harmony, classical technique or getting your chops up to blazing speed, there’s always more to learn. I offer the full Berklee College of Music guitar department curriculum, or I can design a customized lesson program for you. *** Studio Equipment *** Guitars: Godin LG Signature, Godin Jazz SA, Godin A6 Ultra, Godin Grand Concert Classical, Godin Glissantar (fretless, 11 strings), Fender Stratocaster, Fender Telecaster, Washburn Billy T (fretless), Guild D50, Alvarez FS60, Yamaha Flamenco, Gibson Chat Atkins Amplifiers: Mesa Boogie Mark IIC, Blackstar Artisan 30, Fender Blues Junior, Tech21-Trademark 60, Roland AC-90, Roland AC-33, AER Compact 60 Effects: Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah, HIWatt Wah, ProCo Rat Distortion (modded), Maxon OD-9 (modded), Jekyll and Hyde Dual Overdrive, BB Preamp, Boss DS-1 (modded), Visual Sound Route 808 Overdrive, Keeley Compressor, Peterson Strobostomp Tuner, MXR mini amp, MXR 10 band EQ, Fulltone SupraTrem, Retro – Sonic Phaser, Analogman Clone Chorus, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal, T.C.
