I grew up in Sweden, speaking Swedish at home, but going to French school. At age four, I was immersed in a French environment, and had to sink or swim. I swam! In my late teens, my family moved to Israel, so I became fluent in Hebrew as well. I understand a lot about the language acquisition process. While languages fascinate me, and come easily to me, I understand that that is not the case for everyone. I am very patient, and willing to try different methods in order to succeed. I realize that some people learn best by seeing the materials, while others need to hear them, or even sing them! Others need to move their bodies and engage in kinesthetic learning. I facilitate all these methods. I have taught all ages, from preschoolers to the elderly. I have taught in preschools, elementary schools, universities, and informal educational settings (like summer camps) as well as one-on-one privately. While teaching languages, I often include song clips or video clips of stories in the target language. I’m very flexible with timing, and available as often as you’d like, Sunday to Friday.
