Singing with Bethany W.

For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed singing, and have played the piano since age 6. Music became my pursuit through all of life, and I went on to receive my bachelor of music degree from University of Mobile and am continuing my education by pursuing a Master of Arts in Worship Studies from Liberty University Online Seminary. Music is my passion, and has allowed me to meet some amazing people, and sing in some amazing places. Just this year I had the chance to be part of a band that was hired to perform for a Mass Mutual event in Nassau Bahamas. I also have the opportunity from time to time to work as a session singer in some of the different recording studios around our area. Along with leading worship in various churches, I had the opportunity to teach at a music college several years ago, which stretched me beyond belief. But the main way I use music is to lead worship in my church. I am currently the Worship Director in my church, so I have many responsibilities that all involve music, arts, songwriting, and development of other musicians. It has been a wonderful way to continue to craft my skill. Music is the way I pour out my heart to God, but I have found that in doing so I have poured out my heart to others, and been able to connect with the deepest parts of people through this powerful gift of music.
