Ongoing degree, getting a Bachelor's in Music with an minor in English at Northern Arizona University. Played in several symphonies and sinfoniettas. Played in a mariachi band for a year and a half. Music director at Holy Trinity Catholic Newman Center on-campus. Teaching pedagogy will stem from the Suzuki method, with overall theory and musical expression being at the core. Students can bring in certain songs or bigger projects (e.g. audition material such as concertos, sonatas, quartet or orchestra pieces). Technique is very important and will be a big focus, as well as creative liberty within musical expression. I try to make lessons fun and relevant to their life and I think the goal overall is that both teacher and student can grow together!

*** Specialties ***
I am being trained in Suzuki string pedagogy. However, I still have experience with simple method books for string instruments (violin, guitar) I have both classical violin (scales, arpeggios) and fiddle practice lesson books. Guitar lessons usually consist of pop songs, scales, and/or what the student may be interested in.
