Hi everyone! My name is Ben Scharf, and I'm here to help you learn saxophone. My goal is to help everyone have a fun, personalized experience in learning my favorite instrument. Through me you will learn tips, technique, musicality, and practice methods to eventually become an independent and efficient musician. Whether you're learning saxophone as a hobby or for school, you'll get lessons tailored to what YOU want to play. I have a Bachelors of Music in Music Education from San Diego State University, which allowed me to teach band, orchestra, choir, and individual saxophonist at the middle school and high school level. I'm currently earning my teaching credential from San Diego State's Teaching Credential Program. With a background in education, I'm trained to build up players with fundamentals and pedagogy in mind.
