Hello aspiring guitarists! My name is Ben. I am a musician hailing from Central Ohio seeking to share my knowledge of the guitar and music theory with anyone and everyone eager to learn. I have taught guitar lessons for the last eight years and I have taken guitar lessons myself for the past 12 years. In 2012 I attended Capital University in Columbus, Ohio on a scholarship for classical guitar. Following my time at Capital I lived in Columbus writing music and playing guitar for several local groups while also teaching private guitar lessons. I currently gig as a guitarist and bass player in several Los Angeles based bands and I recently finished my first solo EP, which I recorded independently from my own home studio. My teaching style is very adaptive and fluid, focusing on the individual needs and goals of my students. From learning your favorite songs on the guitar to mastering your major and minor scales, together we will both strive to become the best guitarist we can be.
