Music Therapy with Ben R.

My name is Ben Rosenthal, your future teacher! I hold a BA in Music from Westfield State University. I am also a graduate degree in Music Therapy from Saint Mary-of-the-Wood's College. I have been playing the trumpet for 20 years, guitar for 15, and piano for 10. My horn of choice is a Bach Stradivarius model 37. I assist with coaching the trumpet section for the Youth Wind Ensemble of Springfield at Community Music School of Springfield. If you take lessons with me we will work on mainly classical music, as that is what I have been trained in. I am found of many genres of music and can gear the lesson to help whatever you would like to learn. I was in All States and Districts when I was younger and can assist with auditions. I also teach the piano and guitar! I took piano lessons under the instruction of Deborah Gilwood from Westfield State University and Kurtis John from the pop band The Last Goodnight.
