    About Ben P.

I am a professional saxophonist with a focus in teaching, performing, and composing. I've been playing for the last fifteen years and teaching privately, full time, for the last seven. I've taught students of all and ability levels. My students have made all-state bands at both the middle and high school levels, with some continuing on to pursue music in college in both the U.S. and Canada. I hold a Bachelor's of Music in Saxophone Performance and a Professional Performance Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where I studied with Lynn Klock and Jonathan Hulting-Cohen. I've maintained a large saxophone studio throughout Western Massachusetts for the last several years. I recently relocated to Denver and I'm eager to begin building my studio and helping my students complete their musical goals.
