Country Guitar with Ben F.

Hi! I have been a professional musician since the age of seventeen and have been teaching guitar and music for over five years. I've worked with students of all levels for both acoustic and electric guitar and can teach a variety of styles, including rock, blues, jazz, metal, pop, R&B, country and more! I also have experience teaching songwriting, composition and music theory. I believe that an instrument is a creative tool to help you create the music you want to, and would love to help you realize your own goals on the guitar. I make each and every lesson about what you're interested in learning and want to achieve. Do you want to learn to play your favorite songs? Do you want to learn to be a songwriter? Do you want to learn to play killer solos? All of the above? Don't worry, I got you! I have a B.A. in music with an emphasis on composition from Hampshire College. During my time at Hampshire, I studied jazz, contemporary, folk and avant-garde guitar styles as well as songwriting, electronic production and jazz and classical composition, all the while performing in local rock, metal and jazz bands. I have performed live in hundreds of concerts, have been featured on numerous records and have written and performed music that has received F.M. radio rotation. I give traveling lessons across NYC, and can meet you at your home or other preferred location.
