Music Theory with Ben D.

Hello friends! I'm so excited to share my knowledge of music theory to make the journey of understanding and performing music all the more rewarding. I have performed extensively throughout the region as a singer and multi-instrumentalist, and have a background in audio production as well to complement my academic foundation in theory. My goal is to answer and explain, with expression, anything about the language of music which is a universal language across cultures and people's. My approach is grounded in the Western foundation of music, and I can demonstrate through proven models of its champions how to improve and appreciate one's own understanding and expression of something which we all have in common: a love for music. I can work from a background of the essential basics of the language to the simplification of what may, at first, appear very complex. I take great joy in helping others to find new ways to articulate better what one already intuitively understand about music in their own lives.
