Continuing Education of the Seth Riggs Technique

Improve your singing skill by discovering the power of your voice healthily.

I've performed on Broadway, in National Tours, in Regional Theatre and on Cruiseships. I've been teaching for 20 years and my students have landed recording contracts, roles in Matilda on Broadway, Kinky Boots National Tour, Les Miserables National Tour and one student performed 2 seasons ago on NBC's The Voice. I help every student discover the power of their voice in a healthy way. No "shouting" when they sing. I specialize in audition coaching for Broadway and shows like The Voice as well as for musical theatre scholarships as I'm also a veteran actor. If you check out AcaPop Kids on YouTube, you'll see two of my students performing.

    About Ben B.

I've been teaching people to sing for 20 years. I myself have worked on Broadway, in national tours, in regional theatre and on cruiseships for Carnival and Royal Caribbean. I also have a home recording studio where I've recorded myself and other singers for several independent record labels. Because I'm an audio expert if you need your music faster, slower, in a key that's higher or lower, or edited to a special audition length, these are things that I've been doing for my students for 20 years now. My students have landed jobs in Matilda on Broadway, Kinky Boots national tour, Les Miserables national tour, and recording contracts with Atlantic Records and Warner Brothers distribution. You can see and hear 2 of my students performing in the national group Acapop Kids on the Acapop Kids YouTube channel. I specialize in helping students reach their full potential as a singer, without ever damaging their voice. They learn "power" without "strain" for a long healthy career. Because I'm also a veteran actor I also audition coach student monologues for musical theatre auditions as well as their audition songs and help them decide where and how to choose which parts of the song to sing for the auditions. Producers from American Idol and America's Got Talent contact me every year for young singer recommendations.

I have known been professionally for over 10 years and he has been constant in my life, as over those years I’ve needed vocal training, studio recording and so much more. As an untrained performer growing up, I realized in my adulthood that I really wanted to pursue music and performance. Without extensive training, however, I’ve always had some insecurities with my abilities to measure up. Ben’s vocal coaching has helped me learn healthier, correct ways to sing and it has helped me so very much! I also no longer fear or feel insecure about not being perfect in studio recordings. Ben’s gentle nature makes for the perfect space for your expression, imperfections and all, and he gives excellent guidance, pitch instruction & note references, as he is also a singer & plays piano. He is a true master with pitch correction and any other possible thing you can need him to create for you on a recording, as well. I feel I make my best magic with Ben… I have no idea what I would EVER do without him🤎

I had the pleasure of working with Ben for years on my vocal technique. He completely transformed the way I approach healthy singing and emoting through song. He is masterful at his craft and makes learning fun. Best of all, he is one of the most humble and thoughtful artists I’ve worked with. I’d recommend his coaching to anyone at any age.

I have known and had the privilege of working with Ben for more than 20 years. Within the past 5 years I noticed my vocals were strained and singing became painful. I began working with Ben as a coach. His training technique is rigorous but gentle and grounded in theory. He is the COACH for those who truly want to reach their full potential.
