Learn more about Ben at http://benboossarangsi.webs.com/ *** Lesson Details *** Lessons are scheduled in 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions. Criteria: 30 Minutes: beginners or students in elementary school 45 Minutes: some experience or students in middle/high school 60 Minutes: extensive experience or advanced students All lessons must be booked per person (i.e. if you have two students who want to take lessons with me, they each must be signed up for a separate lesson slot). **Location Requirements** All lessons are to be in the students' home or other pre-determined location set by the student. Students must provide their own instruments. I can assist you in choosing an appropriate instrument for the student through local vendors. All method books must also be purchased upon discussion with the instructor within the first two weeks of lessons. As the student progresses, additional method books of literature will need to be purchased at the instructor's discretion. I hope to encourage and build you up in whatever challenge we decide to tackle. Whether you are starting out for the first time or you have been playing for a while, I'm here to push you, to see you grow and to learn things as well. I enjoy working with both children and young adults. My students say that I'm fun, that I run lessons in an exciting manner, and that I love showing others what it is to make music. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Gordon College (Wenham, MA) and have a varied cohort of students ranging in ages. I teach both young musicians just starting out and the not so young, helping them achieve personal goals on a particular instrument. In my other life, I serve as a Firefighter and a Communications Officer in the Town of Ipswich.

My son Kyle is a beginner guitar player. He is currently being homeschooled, as the result of being pulled out of a local elementary school, as the result of bullying. He has been thru a LOT emotionally, and we are slowly helping him to recover from the emotional damage. Putting yourself out there with something new like this, and leaving yourself vulnerable are things that are difficult for him right now. Ben has been so professional, caring, and patient with Kyle. I believe he will help him find the passion in this beautiful instrument, and the confidence to express his feelings and enjoy the art of music. Thank you Ben!!
