I will interview the student and determine their goals and prepare a lesson plan for the best way to approach learning. I focus on getting your hands on the guitar and learning to listen first, after a working knowledge of hearing and playing add in theoretical concepts and notation.

I perform in a variety of genres including Jazz, Blues, Rock, as well as Theatre Productions, Swing Dance and Contra Dance bands. My main performance focus is performing in the 'Hot Club' style Jazz of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli in the 1930s.
I provide individual private guitar lessons to young students and adults and have a strong interest in utilizing music in therapy based on recent experience working on Dancing Well: The Soldier Project, a program that helps veterans suffering from PTSD through dance.
