I love learning piano from Professor Kakouberi. I blessed to have her push me to do my best.
Pushes you to do your best. Supportive but expects you to do your work. Very good teacher.
Very involved and patient. There are many who are excellent musicians but not many teachers.
Baya is an excellent teacher with exceptional professional achievement.
Both my daughter (7 now) and Son (5) are learning piano from Baya since 2015. Baya is very patient to children, making friends with them. Yet she holds high standard on techniques and emotions of the music playing. Both of them made significant progress constantly.
My daughter started with Russian School books, very nice songs to practice various important techniques with beautiful tunes. Two hands on almost from the beginning. Finishing two of those books, she begins to have Bach, Clementine's sonatinas and songs from a wide variety of composers. Following his old sister, my son is working on Russian books now.
Yes, no kids loves practicing. However, it's very important that Baya helps to touch the beauty and soul of the songs that they can appreciate and enjoy, besides techniques. I think this is very important to keep them going forward.
