After 20 years learning, performing and teaching with guitar, I offer lessons that cover from the most basic and foundational approach to get you started in the right direction to play for the rest of your life. I am experienced with multiple styles as Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Metal with both electric and acoustic instruments. Barry has been studying the Art of the Guitar for the past 15 years. After graduating from the grammy award winning Las Vegas Academy for the Performing Arts, Barry spent 2 years in the Jazz program at the University of Las Vegas Nevada, and after, attending the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, California to expand his areas of interest to recording and other styles of guitar such as progressive rock and fusion. Barry has been teaching private lessons for 5 years with students ages 10 and up.

I started taking guitar lessons with Barry shortly after I inherited an old vintage Martin that has been in my family for a while.  I had not played in nearly 25 years. Barry's patience and creative spirit enabled me to begin really enjoying playing again.  He actively listened to what I wanted to achieve and concentrated on those skills that have taken me to another level. After just a few lessons, I now play better than I ever could in my younger days. I highly recommend him for both a coach for experienced musicians and a teacher for those beginning to experience the joy of playing guitar.
