About Barbara M.
Barbara M., began her music career on 2005 at "Escuela Superior de Musica y Danza", a Music and Dance University in Monterrey, Mexico. She studied classical voice and piano for three years. After that she transferred to University of Texas at San Antonio where she studied piano, organ, voice and harpsichord and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music in May 2012.
Barbara has studied music for eight years with highly renowned teachers . She has taught piano and voice for seven years at several music academies and privately. She has previously worked at Alamo Music Center teaching piano and voice and is currently teaching at her own studio, Piano Stone Oak. She is member of St. Luke's episcopal parish choir where she sings soprano and is currently continuing her studies in organ and harpsichord with an outstanding performer and pedagogue from Trinity University.
On her free time, when not practicing organ or harpsichord, Barbara likes to swim, walk her dog, go to the mall, read, cook and spend time with her friends and family. She also enjoys accompanying, playing chamber music and playing at Weddings and Church services.
