Hello, my name is Bailey and I would love to make music with you! I am a professional pianist and public school orchestra teacher. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Fredonia School of Music. I am a certified K-12 music teacher in New York State. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years to a variety of learners ranging in age and skill level. My students walk away each week feeling empowered and confident in their abilities. I am able to push you while making you feel excited about new challenges. I am able to assess what you need, and offer you meaningful feedback in small, digestible chunks. Along with all of this, I make lessons fun! I teach fourth and fifth graders at school, so I know how to have a good time while helping students make great strides. I make it a point to ensure that you enjoy playing your instrument. I pride myself in being a flexible teacher. If something isn't working for you, I will find something that does. If you are having trouble grasping something, I will find a way to help you get it. I am good at setting goals with my students that they can achieve, and then devising a plan to achieve them. When you take lessons with me, I am your biggest supporter and we are in this together. I live to see my students succeed!

Bailey was an excellent lesson instructor! She took the time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted out of my violin lessons and tailored her approach to meet my background and ability level. She is extremely knowledgeable about all of the instruments she teaches, and her positive energy is contagious! I learned so much from Bailey and always enjoyed our lessons together.

Bailey is an amazing teacher! I am primarily a low brass player, but had wanted to get better at piano. Bailey was able to analyze my musical needs, and developed a plan for my specific goals. She is great at focusing on specific problems and giving you advice for fixing them. At the same time, she is patient, and would be great with children, as well as adults. I would highly recommend getting lessons from Bailey!
