- Teaching since:
Welcome! My name is Azalea, I grew up in Mexico and I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I hold a Master's degree in Opera Directing and a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Performance. I have been teaching since 2012 in many different settings including private lessons, group lessons, summer camps, online lessons, among others. I have experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds, in both Mexico and the US, including children, adults, college students, working parents, etc.
Our background or language should never be a reason to feel disconnected from others, that's why I love to teach and help my students conquer their goals and forget about those language barriers.
As an artist, I love to be creative when I'm teaching. Every single student is different; therefore, I like to customize my style in order to match my students' needs, learning methods, etc.
Additionally, no matter your level of proficiency, I believe the most important part of the learning process is to have fun and of course, to enjoy yourself every lesson! Thank you for stopping by and please let me know if you have any questions, I'll be glad to help you achieve your educational goals!
