We will be dancing to AFROBEAT music. So get some comfortable clothing and get ready to move your body! We will have a warm up with Afrobeat movement. I take my time teaching you the steps. You will leave my class feeling confident and exciting in your day!

Hi, my name is Ayana. I have a BA in DANCE. I've been teaching dance for over 20 years. My specialty is HIP-HOP, AFRO DANCE, DANCEHALL and DANCE THERAPY!!! I have experience working with children for over 20 years. I am very empathic and compassionate. I enjoy helping my customers feel better about themselves. There is nothing better than seeing my customers feeling better with each step they take and feeling joy in their body movement. It's the best feeling in the world. I take my time breaking down the steps and I have a nice, friendly and humorous personality. My speciality is working with BEGINNERS. I enjoy working with students who never really danced before and they want to build their confidence.

Ayana is an excellent dance instructor! Her choreography is fun and easy to follow. Like she says in her bio, one of her specialties is dance therapy, which is so essential especially with the pandemic still being a factor. I've taken her dance hall classes so far and had a great time! I highly recommend Ayana's classes.
