I'm Autumn Maria. I'm passionate about everything music! I teach and tutor EXCLUSIVELY online in my virtual studio. When I'm not composing, I keep busy playing in community orchestras and ensembles in Wisconsin. I spend my spare time indulging in web design, studying languages, comparing religious viewpoints, collecting Disney Princess merchandise and videos, trying to learn basic economics and civics, psychology and mental health, comedy, and watching films before the year 2000 and box office flops. I am getting upright bass lessons from Autumn since >1 yr. She is super flexible in accomodating my learning needs and levels. We meet 30 min once per week where we progress on theory and improvements of my pizzicato and arco. I particularly like her approach to homework as she lets me record myself playing the bass and gives valuable feedback on e.g. techniques and intonation. We focus on the music I would like to play (ranging from modern Jazz to Christmas Carols), which she arranges for my learning levels or follow songbooks by e.g. Hal Leonard. Autumn is super approachable and I enjoy our weekly conversations a lot. Would highly recommend her to others who are self-driven and really want to learn an instrument without pressure.

Autumn's musical knowledge and musicianship skills are superb. She is very experienced and professional with an obvious love of music and she has the ability to instruct, inspire and motivate. She is very patient and communicates creatively and with enthusiasm, and also has a wonderful sense of humour. Autumn teaches my 6 yr old daughter piano and my daughter is excited about seeing Ms. Autumn, she counts the minutes to when lessons start.
