Austin has been teaching private lessons since 2012. Austin has helped students find passion in music, prepare for performances, complete classes, and overcome stage fright. He also has taught several people with autism, helping them find a path that is suited for them. Allowing them to thrive in the subject.
Austin took private piano lessons in 2007 - 2009 with a professor from Stetson University. Austin was also mentored in guitar with several instructors over the course of 2 years. As an expert in his field, Austin looks forward to helping new students achieve their goals. Austin's goal is to create an environment that is personable, fun, informative and energetic!
Teach multiple instruments, and maintain quality across all learning departments. Making sure kids have a great time, and are learning in a fun bully free environment.
Create a fun, safe and interactive teaching environment for students of all ages. While also providing tools and knowledge so that students can progress quickly!
Assist customers in understanding their instruments, and how they work, along with different product knowledge and general knowledge of how each individual instrument works. All while having expert knowledge in your own respective instrument (mine being guitar).Show More
He helped me learn the basic skills so I could move on to learn more by myself .
Thank you Austin
Good lesson plan and was really encouraging.
Patient with my son, knows a lot, always well prepared for lessons.
Austin is a great teacher, he always makes sure i understand before we move on. He has helped me a lot learning the ukulele. Truly enjoys what he's doing, he made my experience so fun.
My kids (6 & 10) enjoy their guitar lessons with Austin. He plans based on their music/songs interests. Austin's schedule is also flexible.
Wonderful instructor. He spends time with my daughter and explains everything to her in a very understanding way. He had a lot of patience and great skills! I highly recommend him to anyone.
My son absolutely loves Austin! He's very patient and allows him to play the type of music he's interested in. He started on acoustic at age 7 and at 8 is playing the electric guitar and loves it even more!
I have been very impressed with Austin. From my son's first day of lessons, Austin has been a patient and caring instructor. He took the time to find out my son's musical interests and tailored his lessons to fit those, which has made all the difference in my opinion. My son likes to practice and looks forward to each and every lesson.Show More
Austin has been absolutely fantastic with both of my boys. He shows patience, kindness, and care in all his interactions & teachings with them. Great sense of humor and always with a positive attitude. My boys look forward to seeing him and I hear his name in our home numerous times per week. We are all big fans :)Show More
Austin is great! He takes the time to learn his individual students and teach them in a way that they can comprehend the information and succeed. He's teaching me practical guitar skills as well as theory. Incredibly patient and whoa his knowledge of the guitar is incredible! His interaction with my 5 year old daughter is awesome...he listens and even though she is not his student, he gives her the opportunity to learn something while she's in the lesson with me. It's been a great experience so far!Show More
Austin Kessler is a great instructor. My son is 5 and is learning guitar. Although I wasn’t sure if he was at a good age to start Austin works with him very well. Zakai is comfortable with him and retains lots of information. He would rather practice with him than at home. He was shy at first but Austin allows him to be a child and ramble for a bit and then always reels him back into practicing and learning. He’s very patient and kind with my son. Constantly provides updates on progress after every lesson and makes himself available throughout the week via phone if needed. If we are unable to make it to practice he is accommodating as best as possible. I don’t live near the center so sometimes situations arise and he is quite understanding. I would definitely recommend Austin as a teach to anyone.Show More
Austin is really helpful and easy to get along with. I enjoyed his as a teacher and learned a lot from him.
Learning music is an experience. It's an experience that can either be bad or good depending on the instructor you have. Thankfully, I was receiving help from Austin, and it was the opposite of a bad experience. Austin knows music in a way that was beyond my basic understanding, but explained to me as if it was something I knew all along. Whenever my hands would cramp up on the keys, or my fingers couldn't stretch properly to the next fret, he understood it was natural, so I wasn't worried. I mean, we're all learning.
In terms of paying for lessons and going through this process, Austin is the one to do it for.
Austin is patience, kind and very caring. He teaches at your individual level. My grandson love his lessons and look forward to them. That is an amazing accomplishment. Thank you Austin!!! You are doing a wonderful job.
My grandson loved his lesson.
Definitely has a great understanding of guitar and is easy to understand. Professional and patient, always ready to answer questions.
A great teacher with a lot of patience for newer players, we meet once a week and each week we would learn a new exercise that would also relate to the new song we would be learning. He was always ready to answer any question no matter how hard it was. I would recommend him to anyone that's looking to learn any instrument.Show More
Great instructor, definitely knew his stuff. I'd recommend him to anyone who's dedicated to learning all about the art of playing guitar and is looking for a truly intelligent and professional teacher.
Very enjoyable experience. Made me feel comfortable with playing guitar and helped me understand the basics of it. The teaching is easily understandable and he took his time to make sure I understood what he was teaching.
