Hello, my name is Austin and I am just finishing up school at Penn State (with a major in chemical engineering). I have always excelled in math and science and I enjoy relaying my knowledge to others. I have experience tutoring undergraduate students at Penn State in Math, Chemistry, and Chemical Engineering courses. My goal with tutoring is to convey an understanding of the subject material: to not only help students figure out the answer, but to help them understand why.
GPA: 3.63/4.00 SAT: 2170 Math: 760 Reading: 760
Austin was a very helpful tutor for the ACT. My goal in getting a tutor was to get a high 30 on the ACT (it is out of 36). He had lots of useful materials for me to use and follow along with. Most weeks I would write a practice essay as well as do some sections. He helped me perfect my essay writing and helped me work through any wrong answers or confusing questions. He was always on time, prepared, friendly, and well versed on the subject matter. My first scored before any work with Austin started at a 26 I ended up getting a 33 which is in the range for almost any college nation wide. I would definitely recommend Austin.+ Read More
