I have a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Literature. I have taught French and Latin in Middle and High Schools (from 6th to 12th grades) for more than 7 years in Paris and Lyon (France), until I left for New York in June 2019. I am trained to teach French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and have audited classes of the Master’s degree in Foreign Languages, Literatures and Civilization – specialization English at Paris Sorbonne Nouvelle University (Paris III, France). This considerably strengthened my love and understanding of the American and British cultures, languages and histories. I have also chosen to devote myself to French-Latin private tutoring to high school students and the organization of literacy workshops to teach French as a foreign language to young people and adult immigrants in France. These activities considerably developed my teaching skills and taught me how to make the French language accessible to a non-francophone audience. Preparation to exams, refresher trainings or just learning French as a hobby, I would be glad to help you the best that I can.
