Irish Traditional Musician from Ireland.
I have been playing Irish Music since I was 3 years old. I am also an Irish Dancer. I am currently living in the United States and hope to get more people here interested in Irish Music.
I am a 5 times All Ireland Champion between Tin Whistle and Flute.
I have performed on many different music tours and at many different concerts and festivals throughout the world. E.g Comhaltas Tour of Ireland and Great Britain, Europeans People Festival in Portugal, Hungary, Latvia, Ireland and Luxembourg, Twinning Festivals in France and Malta along with many local gigs and sessions in throughout Ireland. I have also performed many times on Irish radio and TV e.g Geantrai, The Foster and Allen Show, Ceili House etc.
I teach music to students of all ages and abilities. All welcome! :)
I have been teaching Irish music for over ten years
There’s more to Irish traditional music than just playing tunes. Musical works have histories and stories, just as musicians today stand on the shoulders of giants from the past. The SCT (Scrúdu Ceol Tíre) programme is a graded series of exams designed to take you as a musician from basic proficiency in tune-playing through to a mastery of the tradition. Along the way you’ll learn about music theory, improve your ear and research the history of musical pieces, styles and players. Oh, and play tunes, of course!+ Read More
Our non-profit organization is part of a global organization devoted to Irish traditional music and culture. Throughout the year, we sponsor a great number of events, celebrating the talents of our branch members as well as enjoying guest performers and teachers from other communities.+ Read More
Audrey is an excellent instructor - clearly knows her tin whistle but understands that others of us are not at her level - so, she makes things clear about how to improve. Very patient and also encouraging as we work thru issues and questions.
Excellent instructor. Very professional, very skilled, and very patient & supportive of a beginner-level student!
