Greetings! I'm Aubrey and I am currently the 6th - 12th-grade theatre director for a charter school in Atlanta GA! I have been teaching since 2015 and privately coaching young actors and actresses since 2012! Throughout my career, I have been able to help numerous students ace their college/performing arts school auditions! I've also had the pleasure of leading my students to the regional and state One Act competitions where we have won countless awards! Here is a quick peek at my training and experience:

Education and Training:
Bachelor of Arts - Film
Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies - Theatre Performance
AIFS Shakespeare Globe Study Abroad Program - London (Training/Shakespeare)
Alliance Theatre (Training)
Robert Mello Studios (Method Training/Meisner)
Out of Box Theatre (Stage Manager)
Playwright (Atlanta Black Theatre Festival)

Charles R. Drew Charter School (Teacher 6-12)
A Class Act Actor's Studio (Acting Coach)

I teach theatre performance, tech, and production! While coaching, I specialize in audition techniques, how to pick the perfect monologue piece, and tips on how to give a stellar performance!! I am currently coaching a few students for auditions for Dekalb School of the Arts, admission to various universities and the August Wilson Monologue Competition. I'd love to see what you got and put it to the test!

Teaching since:

Greetings!! I am a practicing performance artist and theatre educator for a public charter in Atlanta Public Schools! I have produced, directed and stage managed several shows in my professional career and I have also had the pleasure of helping many students get into the theatre schools of their choice!! I have a Bachelor's degree in both theatre and film, and I have been coaching and assisting students since 2012 so my knowledge of performance and audition technique is expansive! I have also trained for many years at the Alliance Theatre and Robert Mello Studios. Almost every year my students receive the recognition for the category of Best Actor or Best Supporting Actor in the state for GHSA region One-Acts. I am currently producing my own work, which was featured at the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival! I am also an educational liaison for True Colors Theatre's Act Like A Lady Program - a program that uses theatre as a way to build character in girls grades 6-8. I am extremely serious and passionate about my craft, and I will give you the skills to achieve your goals!
