Astrid's Music School

I started Astrid's Music School here in the Bay Area back in May of 2014 offering one-on-one lessons and group lessons for voice, piano and music theory.I teach out of my home full time with over 50 students I see on a weekly basis, offering in-person private one-on-one lessons or virtual lessons.

Gymboree PLay & Learn Gym

I was the music teacher at three locations around the Bay Area teaching music classes to children 0-5. I really enjoyed my time working for Gymboree and the parents and kids I had the pleasure of working with on a weekly basis. I love to use the tools that I learned from my experience there and incorporate that into my teaching style with some of my younger kids. My goal in all of my lessons is for my students to find an appreciation for music and hopefully at some point fall in love with it.

Bethel Christian Church

In the summer of 2013, I had a group of about six teenagers who were interested in singing and learning how to harmonize and ultimately sing for fun. For a total of three months, we meet each week and talked about reading music, we sang songs together and worked on harmony. The environment was fun and I was always open to new idea's.

Lori Capper's Vocal Studio/ Maria's Opera Lessons

I have had a total of five vocal coaches who have taught me so much in the last 12 years. Each of them focused on different genres of music such as, opera, classical, contemporary, country and jazz. I have learned so much and I am ready to help others do the same.
